Tick Tock......

Time is flying by and Mackenzie is 28 weeks old!

There are so many cute things she has done in

the last few weeks so I am stealing this from my friend

Melanie Allen only b/c I am not so good at remembering!

i figured i could at least look back at my blog to see

Mackenzie's milestones when i try to scrapbook (maybe

when she's 18).

ACTIVITIES: rolling over 360

sitting up with little help

loves to swing and bounce (thanks Morgan)

loves to chew everything!!!

loves to play with Bella's ears

loves her exersaucer

loves to eat "real" food (as we call it)

loves to drink out of our cups and her sippycup

rubs her ears when she is tired

smiles all day long

giggles like crazy

sleeps 12 hours

takes 3 naps...mornings are her BEST!!!

screams so loud

twists around when we hold her in our arms

sucks 2 fingers...doesn't matter which hand

sooo jerky with her right hand.....slaps our faces

raises her arms for us to pick her up

EATS: bananas

prunes

sweet peas

sweet potatoes

butternut squash

carrots

rice cereal

oatmeal

Weighs about 15 pounds...check back Friday for the official weigh in :)

I'm sure I left lots of things out but it is so hard to remember on the spot!

Mackenzie, Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know!

Mac is 1/2 year old!!!!!

I feel so lucky to have people want to take Mackenzie's

pictures! She seems to LOVE being a model and

smiling for the camera:) My partner teacher, Betty's

nephew, Barrett is 14 years old and has found

a hobby with cameras! He came over just to shoot a

few pics of Mackenzie and here they are! I think

he has found his calling.....thanks Barrett!

December----Our Month in Review!

December has come and gone in a flash!

What a month we have had: Mackenzie's baptism,

3 Christmas Celebrations,

a road trip (yes we drove) to Tennessee and back,

first New Year's with a 5 month old...but we survived,

and the beginning of a hard 2 months with a nanny

b/c of my back surgery (hard for me...not for her)

2009: Thanks for all of the memories, blessings, recoveries,

babies in the family, both sides of our families, and we look forward to 2010!

Well, I scheduled Mackenzie's baptism months before knowing

I was having back surgery....so 12 days after back surgery

we had to be at the church at 11 which sounds EASY right!?!?

Well....let's not ask Jp about that!! He had to get himself, me,

and Mackenzie ready for her debut at church...not an easy task...

but SUCCESSFUL....and we were on time (which

doesn't happen often anymore!)

He is the best husband a girl could ask for :)

so this is after an hour and a half!

but I did sneak a few during the service

because I couldn't resist how focused

Mackenzie was on the lights!

She did GREAT during her debut, but

right after that she crashed in her

daddy's arms! Jp had a smile on

his face the whole time....she is

definitely a daddy's GIRL!

It has been way too long since I have blogged b/c

it is so hard to manage facebook, blogging, and

just being a mom!! My favorite saying is, "I'm

only 1 woman!" so enjoy the latest pictures of

our beautiful baby girl!

My friend, Jennifer Woolley, came over last week for

a lunch date with Mackenzie and I. I asked her to

bring her camera because Mackenzie is growing

so fast and there were some things I wanted

to get her captured in before she can't wear

them anymore......(there are LOTS more

I just had to reel myself in...ha...ha)!!!! Here
